I looked at a 2nd gen van years ago the owner touted as rust free.

Well If you consider the tin riveted over the whole bottom of the doors, rockers, dog legs, and quarter panels that they rattle canned over I guess it was.

They didn’t cut it off, it was just hiding under the tin. I guess it’s rust free where the rust already fell off.
